Before games are played, coaches will lead a 20 minute practice focusing on teaching and developing fundamental basketball skills. All games are officiated and consist a 35 minute running-clock. Teams will compete in a full schedule of games throughout the 6 week season starting January 2 and ending February 6. Each player receives a league jersey to keep provided you register by the deadline.

Registration, Cost, and League Policies

The cost to participate in Warrior Basketball League is $125 per player, and payment is required at the time of registration. There are no cuts, guaranteeing each registered participant a place in the league. Registration is open to girls in kindergarten through sixth grade, and to provide the best experience possible, registration will be capped at 160 players and teams will be capped at 10 players. Registration will be open until December 23rd, or until the 160-player limit is reached. However if you want a jersey then you will need to register by December 14th to guarantee delivery. Any registrations after December 14th will not be guaranteed a jersey.

During registration, families will have the option to list one friend their son/daughter would like to be paired with during team placement. To honor these requests, the friend request must be mutual—for two players to be placed together, each must list the other on their form.

Warrior Basketball League — FAQ

Where do I receive info and updates about Warrior League throughout the season?
The WC youth sports page will have weekly updates.

How are teams formed?
First priority is friend requests. We want the girls to enjoy the game and play with thier friends. Second priority is competitive games. We will hold player evaluations to help with this aim. The more girls who attend the evaluation night, the easier it will be to form competative teams.

*Evals will take place Dec 20, 2026 from 5pm-6pm

When is Warrior League?
Saturday mornings for 6 weeks in January/February
Dates: 1/2, 1/9, 1/16 1/23, 1/30, 2/6

It is $125 to play. That fee includes their jersey and is due at the time of registration. Must register by Dec 14th to guarantee a jersey.

When will I know my team placement and schedule?
Teams and schedules will be posted on the WC youth sports page by January 1.

When will registration close?
Registration will close on December 19 or when we reach 160 players, whichever comes first.

Can we list more than one friend on the “friend request” line?
No. Only one friend may be listed. To be placed on the same team, both players must list each other. If the request is not mutual, the pairing will not be guaranteed.
