Summary

CYO boy’s football has a wide range of benefits including physical, mental, and social growth. We promote the mentality of a “Brotherhood” within the SMG football family. This starts with discipline and commitment to one another, to the team, but most importantly to Christ. We instill confidence and self-esteem by attacking problems and obstacles with teamwork and cooperation. We ask these boys to exhibit leadership skills while representing the Lord and their parish with respect and sportsmanship. We believe that football helps shape young men in the key attributes needed to live life in a Christ-like way.

Description

Season Time Frame: Mid-September – Early November

Age Group: 3rd – 8th graders

The CYO Football programs is open to boys in grades 3 – 8 with competition divided into five separate leagues 3rd grade League, 34 League, 4th grade League, 56 League, and Cadet League.

All league games will be played on Saturday or Sunday starting Saturday, September 12th, 2026.
