We have space again now @ Avalon

A big big thank you!

Nina Franca from our Lake Nona 13 Willie saw an invitation to rent her school to do sports at her school. Her family did not hesitate to share this information with her volleyball family. I just emailed, and the School Assistant Principal, Angie Algarin, contacted us. After a visit, we are making history. We have 2 teams at the moment but with room for more. Coach Rafael and Coach Tyce hand in hand with Coach C are working to keep the standards and quality of our Academy.

Tournaments

The academy has a record that every weekend one of our teams brings medals home. Let's keep up the hard work following rules, and attending practices and games.

This month, we can win a Bid for USAV Jr Nationals with Lake Nona 18 Luis at Florida Region in Orlando and Southeast National in Atlanta. To this last one, we are invited to compete with the bid Lake Nona 17 John in a division 18 American.

 The high-level Nike Boston One National tournament will be an opportunity to win the bid for USAV Jr Nationals, and Lake Nona 12 GIO, Lake Nona 12 Ricardo, and Lake Nona 13 Willie have this opportunity. 

While locally at Winter Heaven, Lake Nona 17 GIO and Lake Nona 13, John will compete to win an AAU Super Regional in the Orange Blossom Bash.

Other tournaments this month, are Miami Florida Frenzy, Wesley Chapel Block Party, Estero 2024 City of Palms Volleyball Spmash, Pez Say Invitational, and Apoka Volleyball  Starts. They are great for preparing for Super Regionals, Grand Prix, and qualifiers.

Other notes

• Monday 19 is President's Day No school and only practices at XL Soccer

• The regional tournament on February 25th is an AAU-hosted tournament by Five Starts Volleyball Club. Team Parents and athletes need to have an AAU membership

• Schedules are always posted the Wednesday before the tournament.

• Coach Michael is in a 3-month work at Jacksonville, and we will miss him
