League Overview

Teaching the fundamentals of baseball. Goal is a fun atmosphere in which each child can become comfortable with the game and progress in future seasons.

Pre-game practice time

3 to 4 innings game

All players bat each inning and play the field. No scores or out counted.

Small roster sizes with coaches providing on field instruction during games

Batters hit off a tee or from balls pitched by coaches

AA

Grades: 1st and 2^nd

Thursday evening at 6:00 or 6:30 pm

Saturday morning at 11 am

League Overview

Continue building on the fundamentals learned at the Rookie level.

Pitcher and catcher positions are introduced for players.

Games are played in a modified format. Coaches pitch to batters in the 1st, 2nd, 5th and 6th innings. Players pitch during the 3rd and 4th innings.

AAA

Grade: 3rd with 2nd graders from our 8U Gold travel team

Tuesday or Wednesday evening at 6:00 or 6:30 pm

Saturday at 1, 3, 5 or 7 pm

Games are played using regular baseball rules on a 46/60 sized field with some modifications.

Players will pitch all innings.

Scores are recorded and team records are kept.

Playoffs are held and a league championship team is decided on the field.

Games will likely be played against neighboring baseball clubs with away games played at their baseball complex.

American

Grades: 4 and 5

Tuesday or Wednesday evenings at 6:00 or 6:30 pm

Saturday at 1, 3, 5 or 7 pm

Introduce more advanced baseball skills and rules to prepare players for the move to the 50/70 field.

Games are played by regular baseball rules with some modifications.

Scores are recorded and team records are kept.

Playoffs are held and a league championship team is decided on the field.

Games will be played against neighboring baseball clubs with away games played at their baseball complex.

National

Grades: 6 and 7 with 5th graders who play 11U travel baseball

Saturday at 1, 3, 5 or 7 pm

Play games using regular baseball rules to prepare players for the move to regulation sized baseball fields.

Games are played with 50-foot pitcher’s mound and 70 feet between bases using regular baseball rules.

Scores are recorded and team records are kept.

Playoffs are held and a league championship team is decided on the field.

Games will be played against neighboring baseball clubs with away games played at their baseball complex.

Pony

Grades: 8 and 9

Target Game Schedule:

Tuesday or Wednesday at 7 pm

Saturday morning / afternoon

Target Field Locations: White Oak Park Fields 3, 4, 9 and 17.

League Overview

Regular baseball rules are followed. Some modifications and restrictions are applicable for players who also play on middle and high school teams.

Playoffs are held and a league championship team is decided on the field.

Games will be played against neighboring baseball clubs with away games played at their 

baseball complex.
