What's Included: Your registration fees cover your uniform package, league memberships (AAU, TAAF, USATF), facility rentals, and more. Meet fees are not included in your registration.

Each athlete represents our team, school, and community. All athletes must:- Show respect to teammates, coaches, officials, and opponents.- Attend all practices and meets on time and prepared.- Demonstrate good sportsmanship—win or lose.- Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic.- Refrain from the use of alcohol, drugs, or vaping.- Support teammates and contribute to a positive team environment.Violations of the code of conduct may result in suspension from practices, meets, or dismissal from the team.
Practice Expectations:- Arrive on time, in appropriate athletic gear, ready to work.- Bring water, proper running shoes, and weather-appropriate clothing.- Warm up and stretch before every session.Meet Day Procedures:- Arrive at the designated time and check in with your coach.- Stay with the team throughout the meet—no wandering.- Support all teammates during events.- Travel with the team to and from meets unless prior arrangements are made with the coach.Behavior: Always represent your team with respect and pride.
Parents play an essential role in creating a positive environment for athletes.- Encourage and support your child and the entire team.- Allow coaches to coach—avoid coaching from the sidelines.- Direct questions or concerns to the coaching staff privately and respectfully.- Follow the “24-Hour Rule”: wait one day before discussing meet-related issues with a coach.- Volunteer when possible (timing, team snacks, chaperoning).- Demonstrate sportsmanship toward all athletes, coaches, and officials.
Athletes will train based on skill, event group, and progression level.Event groups include:- Sprints & Hurdles- Distance & Cross-Country- Jumps (Long, Triple, High)- Throws (Shot Put, Discus, Javelin)Coaches will set individual and team goals, track progress, and provide feedback throughout the season.Athletes are encouraged to:- Set personal and performance goals.- Prioritize proper nutrition and hydration.- Get adequate sleep and rest.- Take responsibility for their improvement.
Clear communication helps our program run smoothly.- Team updates will be shared via [email/group text/Remind app].- Parents and athletes are encouraged to check messages daily for updates or schedule changes.- For questions, please email or text your event coach directly.- Urgent or sensitive matters should be discussed in person or by phone.
Athletes will be recognized for dedication, improvement, and performance.Possible awards include:- Most Valuable Athlete- Most Improved- Coaches’ Award- Leadership Award- Rookie of the Year- Academic Excellence AwardThe end-of-season banquet will celebrate all athletes’ hard work and accomplishments.
